June 28, 2006, Depew, NY, USA -PCB Piezotronics, Inc. (PCB®), a PCB Group Company, has named Gene Smiley as International Business Development Manager, responsible for the development and execution of international growth strategies for end users, OEM's, and distribution channels.
With more than 30 years of experience covering software, hardware and instrumentation, Mr. Smiley was formerly Channel Manager at MTS System Corporation. His areas of expertise include predictive maintenance, FEM, and various sound & vibration industry segments. He has worked in engineering consulting, product management, sales, and marketing roles. He holds a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
