Label Printing Automation Solution Integrates with SAP to Increase Accuracy and Flexibility
MILWAUKEE - TEKLYNX International, the world's leading developer of barcode labeling software solutions, announces the successful installation of their label printing automation software for Owens Corning, global manufacturer of building materials and composites. SENTINEL, an automated enterprise label printing software solution, enabled Owens Corning to leverage their existing SAP installation and pull data directly from the database into label templates. Before implementing SENTINEL, Owens Corning's IT staff had to update SAP's code so labels could be generated from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Because the software is pulling data directly from SAP, manual data entry is no longer necessary and error rates have dropped.
