Press release date: July 11, 2008

Ann Arbor, Michigan - July 11, 2008 - Nematron Corporation announces that Optimation, in Huntsville, Alabama, has been combined with their operations in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The transition, which began in May, is now complete with uninterrupted shipment of products and service.

Optimation, a fully owned subsidiary of Nematron has been operating as separate entity since being acquired in 2001. The relocation of Optimation to Ann Arbor will result in improvements in operational efficiency, allowing for greater investment in product development, marketing, and customer service. All operations in Huntsville, Alabama will be closed now that the transition is complete.

Optimation produces cost effective Remote I/O and Operator Interface Terminal products for industrial control and automation. Their primary product lines are the OptiMateŽ and OptiLogic(TM) Series. The OtiMate series products provide flexible low cost operator panels for microcontroller and PLC applications, while the OptiLogic series products provide low cost, high performance distributed I/O and operator panel functions for control applications.

"By combining our resources a more complete and integrated product offering will now be available from Nematron," states Greg Chandler, President and CEO of Nematron. "The move will also allow more engineering development and enhancements to keep up with the ever increasing functionality PR-08003 demanded by the industrial automation marketplace. Enhancements such as Gigabit Ethernet connectivity are already underway. Together with our PowerView Operator Interfaces and new ePCSeries Embedded Industrial PCs we can now offer a more complete solution to our customers," continues Chandler.
