ESCONDIDO, Calif., August 7, 2007 - One Stop Systems, a global provider in industrial-grade computing systems and components, today introduced its family of CompactPCI Express x4, PCI Express (PCIe) x1, x4 and x8 host cable adapters and PCIe x1 and x4 Express Card host cable adapters. The PCIe host cable adapters enable high-speed expansion from a host system at 2.5Gb/s, 10Gb/s and 20Gb/s to a PCIe downstream device or expansion chassis. All host cable adapters require no additional software or drivers to operate. One Stop Systems designs and manufacturers host cable adapters in a number of form factors that install into PCIe motherboard slots, laptop Express Card slots and CompactPCI Express (CPCIe) IO slots.
PCIe x1, x4, and x8 cable adapters The PCIe x1 cable adapter is ideal for customers needing to add x1 devices such as SATA, Firewire, and serial devices to a host PC. It sells for $250 in OEM quantities (P/N OSS-PCIe-HIB2-x1) and is available immediately. The PCIe x4 and x8 cable adapters provide greater bandwidth for high-speed applications such as video, imaging and audio devices. The x4 host adapter sells for $295 in OEM quantities (P/N OSS-PCIe-HIB2-x4) and is available immediately. The x8 host adapter sells for $495 in OEM quantities (P/N OSS-PCIe-HIB2-x8) and is available immediately.
Express Card host cable adapters Express Card host adapters enable laptops to be cabled to downstream devices like RAID storage arrays. The One Stop Systems Express Card host cable adapters operate as PCIe x1 electrically and accept both PCIe x1 and x4 cable connectors. The PCIe x1 Express Card host cable adapter sells for $395 in OEM quantities (P/N OSS-PCIe-HIB2-EC-x1) and the x4 adapter sells for $450 in OEM quantities (P/N OSS-PCIe-HIB2-EC-x4). Both are available immediately.
3U CPCIe x4 host cable adapters One Stop Systems' 3U CPCIe x4 host cable adapter installs into a CPCIe Type 2 I/O slot. The adapter board is PICMG EXP.0 I/O slot compliant with power on/cable present LEDs. It contains a PCIe x4 cable connector on the front panel. Cabled to One Stop Systems' 3U CPCI expansion board, the CPCIe x4 host adapter extends the PCIe bus to a downstream CPCI system. The 3U CPCIe x4 host cable adapter sells for $495 in OEM quantities and is available immediately.
