SCHAUMBURG, IL (October 15, 2007)-Omron Electronics (www.omron247.com) announces a build-to-order program for 16mm and 22mm pushbuttons, selector switches, emergency stop switches and pilot lights that makes over 6,000 choices available from local stock, shortening lead times to seven days or less. The switches are built on a new production line in Omron Manufacturing of America's plant in St. Charles, Illinois. With product shipping from a Midwest transit hub, customers can expect shorter delivery times to locations around the country.
A new Pushbuttons Build-to-Order Guide has been published to show the wide range of options available in the program; request document A02I-E-01. In addition to the A16 and A165 oil-tight 16mm switches and A22 oil-tight 22mm switches, Omron offers a complementary range of buzzers (M2BJ), pilot lights in 16mm (M16) and 22mm (M22) sizes and legend plates with standard and custom messages. The switches in the program are designed for "no-tools-required" installation. Omron's innovative two-piece, snap-together construction for A16 and A22 switch series reduces installation time, wiring time, and panel depth requirements. Machine designers and panel builders can choose from lighted and non-lighted pushbuttons, lighted and non-lighted selector switches, keyed selector switches, lighted and non-lighted emergency stop switches and pilot lights. The A16 series offers round, square and rectangular models; the A22 series offer round and square models.
