GL Associates now selling in-house automated solution to clients
JERSEY CITY, N.J. - With over 30 years of experience in enterprise master data mapping and conversion, GL Associates (www.GLAssoc.com) Business Systems Consultants has decided it is time to sell their "secret sauce," the Data Accelerator.
It all started with the Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign. Many GL Associates (GLA) clients were outgrowing their Chart of Accounts - some organically and others through mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures. Many of these organizations hired GLA for the COA redesign, but others needed a different type of assistance: Once the COA was redesigned, how do they convert from the old design to the new with the confidence that they had not lost any data? The organizations with this kind of concern hired GLA for its efficient conversion of their COAs.
The more GLA mapped and converted, the more it honed its processes, eventually using the methodology for master data management. Most recently GLA has started automating the reconciliation process - even using a tool called Cetova that ensure 100% before and after data reconciliation - providing a documented audit trail and confidence in regulatory compliance.
The mapping and conversion process has become so routine that many clients feel comfortable using GLA's methodology themselves. Therefore it was a natural decision to start selling this data management tool as a stand-alone solution - aptly named the Data Accelerator.
