OKI Merges Group Logistics Company into OKI Proserve


TOKYO, December 1, 2010 - OKI Electric Industry (TSE:6703) has announced
the merger of OKI Logistics, an OKI Group company specializing in logistics, into
OKI Proserve, a Group company responsible for providing indirect operating services.
OKI Proserve plans to strengthen its management basis by streamlining logistical
operations within the OKI Group. The expertise and systems amassed through
OKI Logistics' long experience in the field of logistics will be integrated at OKI
Proserve into a framework for streamlining general shared Group functions.

OKI is currently in the midst of reconfiguring its management into a Group consolidated
style, as announced in the mid-term business plan. It is taking various measures aiming
to maximize profitability under consolidated management. Reorganizing Group companies
had been a key focus for maximizing profitability, allocating resources optimally, and
reducing operational costs. OKI is currently taking proactive action in all these areas.
