Novacel, the world leader in protective films for industrial surfaces, will be at METALCON International, the 17th annual conference and exhibition for the metal construction industry, from Oct. 3 to 5 in Las Vegas. At booth 1408, the company will showcase three of its films exclusively made for protecting pre-coated metal surfaces used in the construction industry: Novacel 9042, 4154, and 9371.

Protecting pre-coated sandwich panels on foaming lines:

Novacel 9042 is a co-extruded adhesive film 1.3 mil (33 mµ) thick. This innovative clear film is completely transparent and made with polyolefins. Applicable at ambient temperatures, its satin finish shows off the surface of sandwich panels. It is available in rolls of 4,921 ft. (1,500 m) and 9,842 ft. (3,000 m)-thus reducing the frequency of roll changes-and in widths up to 102 in. (2,600 mm). Novacel 9042 film is anti-UV treated and has an outdoor guarantee of three months.

Protecting pre-coated metals:

Novacel 4154 film has an environmentally friendly acrylic-dispersion adhesive. It is specially designed to protect pre-coated metals through severe roll-forming processes and sandwich panel lines. The film is 1.3 mil (33 mµ) thick, clear transparent, made with polyolefins, anti-UV treated, and available in lengths of 4,921 ft. (1,500 m) to 16,404 ft. (5,000 m). It has an outdoor guarantee of three months.

Protecting metallic and matte "cool colors" lacquers:

Novacel 9371 film is 1.4 mil (35 mµ) thick, is made from polyolefins, and is clear transparent to allow rapid inspection of the protected surface. This film is also anti-UV treated and has an outdoor guarantee of three months.

About Novacel:

World leader in protective films for industrial surfaces, Novacel is present on the five continents, in more than 60 countries.
