Northrop Grumman Names Ken Beedle Director of International Communications


LOS ANGELES and LONDON, July 10, 2006 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Ken Beedle corporate director of international communications, responsible for enhancing Northrop Grumman's visibility, reputation and image within key international markets.

In his new role, Beedle will develop and implement a strategic communications plan in support of the company's international business development goals. He will focus on attaining optimum visibility for Northrop Grumman's initiatives, proposals and capabilities within the international marketplace. Beedle will report to Randy Belote, vice president, corporate and international communications and work out of Northrop Grumman's London office.

"The U.K., Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East are important markets for Northrop Grumman and we currently have several key growth opportunities in these areas," said Rosanne O'Brien, Northrop Grumman corporate vice president, communications. "Ken's background, in-depth communications experience and knowledge of international markets make him well-suited for this important task. We look forward to his contributions as we grow internationally."

Beedle joined Northrop Grumman after more than 20 years at KBR, the engineering and construction subsidiary of Halliburton. Most recently, he was the communications manager for KBR's Europe and Africa regions.

Beedle received a bachelor's degree with honors in mechanical engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom. He is a chartered engineer and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
