LINO LAKES, Minn., June 16 // -- Northern Technologies International Corporation (AMEX:NTI) proudly announces that its new product, Zerust® ICT510-M22019 Film, has successfully passed U.S. military testing in accordance with Military Specification MIL-PRF-22019D and is now listed on the Department of Defense Qualified Products List (QPL): QPL-22019 (May 2006). This product allows the military as well as military contractors and suppliers to comply with military packaging specifications that call for a "barrier" packaging film with corrosion protection that meets MIL-PRF-22019D.
Zerust® ICT510-M22019 Film is a ruggedized packaging material with a much higher puncture resistance, tear strength and seam strength than normal commercial packaging materials that protect ferrous metals (such as iron and steel) from corrosion. Applications include corrosion protection for weapons, critical equipment and any other parts and/or equipment that require a more physically robust package combined with corrosion protection in storage, pre- positioning and ocean shipment.
