Analyst Direct lets technology marketers, product planners, analyst relations specialists and other professionals search reports from multiple research firms simultaneously, and seamlessly access reports using their existing analyst site logins.
With the addition of the new research sources - including AMR Research, ARC Advisory Group, Datamonitor, Saugatuck Technology, AMI Partners and MetaFacts - Analyst Direct now enables users to conduct integrated searches of 95 percent of the billion-dollar database of all IT industry analyst research published annually. More than 80,000 market research reports from IT analysts such as Forrester, Gartner, IDC and other leading firms are part of the Analyst Direct database.
Analyst Direct leverages Northern Light's award-winning search engine and patented results classification to search all reports using a single search and alerting interface and the industry's best relevance ranking, so users never miss a single report they need. Most reports are full-text indexed and subject classified to a single, consistent standard.

Integrated text analytics adds intelligence to search
Analyst Direct includes MI Analyst(TM), Northern Light's IT research- optimized text analytics engine. MI Analyst identifies the tone of voice (positive or negative) toward the user's company and its competitors in each report. Additionally, the text analytics engine performs meaning extraction to tell users what business issues reports address in areas like corporate strategy, product marketing, market share, and pricing.
