North Coast Composites Announces New Vice President - Business Development
Cleveland, Ohio...North Coast Composites, a leading manufacturer of advanced composite parts used in the aerospace, transportation, and other high-performance industries, announces the appointment of Gerald Sutton as Vice President of Business Development.
In his new position, Mr. Sutton will be responsible for working with clients to address their composite part manufacturing requirements, including projects involving the use of RTM, VARTM, and Autoclave processes.

Mr. Sutton has over 28 years of professional composites experience with the majority based in the use of advanced composites technology within the aerospace industry. Prior to joining North Coast Composites, Mr. Sutton served as the Director of Missile and Space Business Area of General Dynamics Armaments and Technical Products.
Mr. Sutton also previously served as Vice President of RTM Composites at Advanced Technical Products (ATP), Intellitec Division, one of the largest suppliers of RTM composites to the aerospace industry. The company supplied over 240 parts on each F-22 aircraft and over 20,000 parts annually to prime airframe and engine manufacturer clients including Lockheed Martin, Honeywell Engines, and Boeing. Under his leadership, Intellitec received supplier awards including the Lockheed Martin F-22 EMD Outstanding Team Players Award and the Boeing Phantom Works Innovative Supplier Award in 2002.
A graduate of Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, Mr. Sutton holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Plastic Engineering Technology and continues involvement with the university as an active member of the Plastics Curriculum Advisory Council. Mr. Sutton also earned a Masters of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University located in Fort Lauderdale-Davie, Florida.
