WESTLAKE, Ohio - November 26, 2007 - Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq:NDSN), a leader in dispensing, application, treatment and test and inspection technologies for manufacturers, and Shoplogix Inc., a developer of real-time performance management (RPM) solutions, today announced a strategic alliance that will improve data collection, management and analysis capabilities for manufacturers in the global folding carton industry.
The alliance will enhance the capabilities of Nordson's LogiComm Integrated Pattern Control (IPC) & Verification System Product Line, a comprehensive, easily installed adhesive pattern control and verification system ideal for folding carton applications. This modular system offers a building block approach allowing installation of either pattern control or verification initially, with the capability to easily integrate the other function as needed. The programmable pattern control provides quick pattern development and changeovers to accommodate even short runs on complex boxes. Verification capabilities enhance on-line quality assurance by monitoring adhesive pattern and placement accuracy without the need for adhesive additives.
