Southington, Conn. -- August 2, 2011... Bill Nolan has joined Baumer Ltd. as a Field Sales Engineer. In his new position, Mr. Nolan will manage product sales for the company's sensor and motion lines in eastern Pennsylvania, upper New York state and Long Island, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey.

Mr. Nolan brings to his new position more than 25 years of experience in industrial automation sales. For 9 years prior to joining Baumer, he held the position of Senior Account Manager with Carlton Bates Co., a division of WESCO Corp., with a focus on Honeywell, Turck and Pepperl+Fuchs. Mr. Nolan has worked extensively with customers in the heavy equipment and medical industries.

Mr. Nolan earned a 2 year Electrical Engineering degree from R.E.T.S Electronics and currently resides in Drexel Hill, Penn.
