Niles, Ohio - January 30, 2008 - Niles Expanded Metals & Plastics has announced that they have formed a partnership with Fratelli Mariani, a leading European manufacturer of micromesh and wire cloth located in Milan, Italy. The partnership agreement gives Niles Expanded Metals exclusive agent and distribution responsibilities in North America. This joint venture with Niles Expanded Metals & Plastics now allows the United States to expand its product line and carry a high quality micromesh material.
Fratelli Mariani is a privately held company with 78 years experience in manufacturing expanded metal and wire cloth. Fratelli is ISO 9001:2000 Certified and has 150 employee's in two locations in Milan, Italy. Fratelli specializes in micromesh expanded metal that can be supplied in both coil and sheet in all grades of stainless steel, aluminum, copper, bronze and nickel. This material can be punched, stamped, welded and formed into a cylinder upon request, special testing and rapid prototyping is also available.
