PIM Synchronization for Blackberry Devices with Leading Open Source Email and Collaboration Solution

TARRYTOWN, NY and FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, Dec. 12 -- Open-Xchange Inc. the leading provider of open source collaboration software, announced today that it has joined forces with Nexthaus - the SyncML technology unit of Hostopia.com, Inc. - to enable the synchronization of contacts, calendars and tasks for Open-Xchange Server 5 with BlackBerry devices.

With Nexthaus's SyncJe for Blackberry(TM), Open-Xchange customers will be able to wirelessly synchronize data from their Blackberry devices via the Open-Xchange Server 5. SyncJe for Blackberry is an application that installs directly onto Blackberry devices, enabling centrally stored Personal Information Management (PIM) data to be exchanged, wirelessly, between Blackberry devices and Open-Xchange Server 5. Users can sync their contacts, calendars and tasks free from any device cradles or wires and can even set an automatic synchronization scheduler. SyncJe is compatible with any SyncML server and comes with one year of maintenance and support.
