IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 29 -- Newport Corporation (NASDAQ:NEWP) today announced that it is scheduled to present at the Thomas Weisel Partners 6th annual Technology, Telecom and Internet Conference to be held at The Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Newport will present next Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 1:30 pm Pacific Time (4:30 pm Eastern Time).
The presentation by President and Chief Executive Officer Robert J. Phillippy and Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Charles F.
