Now View Data At a Glance With New 'DT-Remote' Application
CHESTERLAND OH-CAS DataLoggers has good news for dataTaker operators: a new third-party application called DT-Remote now allows iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android OS-based device users to view their real-time data collected from remote dataTaker systems. DT-Remote connects users of these mobile devices with their remote dataTaker data loggers with no Flash requirements needed, and continual real-time access lets users check on their important data any time they like. Currently, the bestselling dataTaker DT8x series II and III data loggers with firmware versions 8.02 and above are all included in DT-Remote.
The new application incorporates multiple dataTaker-based systems letting users choose how they view their data, whether through mimic panels, graphs, and lists. The wide selection of available mimics for almost all types of data includes dial meters, thermometers, and compass faces to display the data in clear visual display panels. DT-Remote also allows users to view data over time in the form of graphs, providing that the data is being logged and stored in the dataTaker's internal memory. Each parameter is independently graphed to give a clearer overview. The Channels view provides a list of all parameters currently being logged by dataTaker devices as well as giving information showing the details of the last reading taken for each parameter and whether this is a mimic created for the item.
DT-Remote is available for sale and download on the App Store at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dt-remote/id436117328?mt=8&Is=1 and in the Android Market at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.procwave.dtdroid.
The bestselling DT8x series II and III data loggers are designed for a wide range of applications and can measure almost any physical value including temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA Loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency, and many more. Now DT-Remote adds even greater data accessibility to their powerful communications features.
