New Wireless Remote Controlled AIRIUSŪ Thermal Equalizer System Being Unveiled at BOMA International Conference

Longmont, CO - June 3, 2008 - In line with the official greening of the BOMA International Conference and The Office Building Show taking place in Denver June 22-24, 2008, AIRIUS LLC is excited to announce the planned unveiling at the conference of its new AIRIUS Thermal Equalizer System with a Hand-Held Wireless Remote Speed Controller. The new system will be available for sale later this year.

The new Wireless Remote Controlled AIRIUS Thermal Equalizer System offers a more precise operation of the system, and will eliminate the need to install and run dual electrical conduits, which can be more costly. Additional energy savings and building comfort will be achieved by using the Wireless Controller to fine-tune each unit with various speeds to totally optimize the efficiency and performance of the system.

"BOMA conference attendees will better understand how the AIRIUS Thermal Equalizer System can easily help their businesses reduce energy consumption, save money, and earn LEED Building Credits," said AIRIUS LLC President Ray Avedon. "AIRIUS offers an immediate easy and efficient "Plug and Play" solution to help companies achieve the 7-Point Challenge and groundbreaking Market Transformation Energy Plan that is the brainchild of BOMA International."

Avedon points out that the AIRIUS Thermal Equalizer System has been operating successfully at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, an environmental advocacy, restoration and education organization headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland. The Foundation installed the AIRIUS units to help address extreme heat stratification as a result of solar gain on the second floor, as well as cold temperatures on the first floor, in this LEED Platinum-certified building.

According to Facility Manager Rich Moore, "I can say without a doubt that we are running our heat pumps a lot less, and warming up the previously cold first floor in the process, not to mention equalizing temperatures on the second floor. We are extremely happy with the performance of the AIRIUS Thermal Equalizer System and its ability to destratify the more than 20,000 square feet of space in which it is located."

The AIRIUS Thermal Equalizer works entirely differently than ducted or large fan-driven air movement systems. The AIRIUS units are suspended near the ceiling where the hot air resides. The average AIRIUS unit uses about the same amount of energy as a 35-watt light bulb. Unlike a typical ceiling fan that uses high amounts of energy, combined with inefficient propeller technology that blows air outward, the patented AIRIUS Thermal Equalizer units utilize extremely compact, low-wattage, advanced turbine technology that efficiently drives the hot air at the ceiling all the way to the floor where people work. This compact jet stream helps mix air throughout the entire space, creating a balanced temperature (Thermal Equalization), improving the efficiency of the HVAC system, and creating a work environment where people are more comfortable and thus more productive.

ABOUT AIRIUS
AIRIUS LLC is committed to the development of unique, patented Thermal Equalization products. The AIRIUS Thermal Equalizer System generates a significant reduction in energy consumption and greatly reduces heating and cooling energy costs, while at the same time improving comfort levels inside buildings. By eliminating the thermal differential, or stratification, that naturally occurs in buildings as heat (warmed air) rises, a significant reduction in energy consumption is achieved, resulting in considerable savings in energy bills. In addition, HVAC functions are made more efficient.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, destratification is a primary step in energy conservation. The AIRIUS method of air destratification is the most cost-effective and efficient destratification product available on the market today, and is a much more viable alternative than ceiling fans and oversized industrial box fans. AIRIUS LLC, along with its parent company, Avedon Engineering, Inc., is housed in the company's 165,000 square-foot design and manufacturing facilities located in Longmont, Colorado.
