Enhanced Features and Functionality Now Available
MELVILLE, N.Y. - Nov. 17, 2008 - Arrow Electronics' expansive electronic components database, combined with a new and improved search engine, delivers fast and comprehensive search results to customers, the company announced today.
Visitors to www.arrownac.com will experience enhanced overall site functionality, a greater range of user options and improved search speed. With Arrow's new search engine, customers can access Arrow's database of over four million parts by searching by part number, keyword and guided navigation. Once results are displayed, customers can fine tune their searches with advanced parametric filtering, which narrows the search by a range of product variables. Search results suggest cross-references for RoHS compliance and form-fit-function (part interchangeability) substitutes. Customers can also view data sheets, part availability, lead-time, supplier information and in-stock upgrades.
In addition, Arrow now offers its Breaking Tape & Reel program online, in which customers can avoid manufacturers' minimum order requirements and request the exact quantities they need - a benefit for customers with low production requirements and inventory concerns.
