New Saddle Creek Business Development Director to Focus on Transportation

Lakeland, Fla., Mar. 2, 2010 - Saddle Creek Corporation, a third-party logistics company, has added a new director of business development who will focus heavily on transportation. Saddle Creek has continued to develop both its asset-based and non-asset-based capabilities since it formed its transportation services division in 2006.

In his new role, Brad Rolland will oversee the development of new customer relationships and maintain organic growth within existing accounts with a concentration on Saddle Creek's transportation services. He will be based at the company's headquarters in Lakeland, Fla.

"With both non-asset-based and asset-based options and flexible, integrated solutions, our transportation business is in growth mode," said Stephen Cook, vice president of marketing and business development at Saddle Creek Corp. "We're committed to investing in the right resources to support our transportation services."

Rolland has a strong background in transportation. He comes to Saddle Creek from J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. where he served most recently as business development director. He also held positions in account management and operations and has a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

"Brad will be a great asset," said Cook. "His experience in both business development and operations gives him insight into customers' needs and expertise in finding solutions to help them manage costs and increase operational efficiency."
