Bradford, PA - January 2006 - KOA Speer Electronics, Inc. introduces its SD0403 series of ultra miniature switching diodes designed for high-speed switching applications. The SD0403 features a miniature 0503 DFN package size with a unique terminal format that is compatible with standard 0603 and 0402 land patterns.
RoHS compliant and WEEE compatible, the solid-state SD0403 qualifies for a 260˚C bonding process and has a marked cathode band. These diodes are rated for DC reverse working voltage of 75V and a continuous forward current of 100mA.
The SD0403's ultra-small package and performance characteristics make this series of diodes ideal for use in cell phones and accessories, PDAs, notebook and handheld computers, MP3 players, CAN bus applications, and video equipment.
SD0403 diodes are packaged on 7 inch paper tape, have a lead time of 8 weeks.
