HOUSTON - Southwest Heart, P.C. in Las Cruces, N.M. recently chose Digisonics as the cardiology PACS and structured reporting solution for their practice.
The Digisonics PACS and structured reporting system will provide users with access to high performance image review, professional reporting capabilities and a single clinical database for all cardiovascular modalities. Full remote reading capabilities will be available via DigiNet Pro, a web-based application that provides secure access to the entire cardiovascular PACS and structured reporting system. The Digisonics CVIS will also be interfaced with INVIA 4DM-SPECT, allowing users to perform advanced nuclear image analysis and quantitation.
Additional DataLink interfaces and HL7 interfaces will streamline connectivity between Digisonics CVIS and the facility's incumbent systems to improve overall workflow efficiency. DataLinks modules will automate transfer of patient biometry from the GE and Philips ultrasound machines directly into the Digisonics PACS and structured reporting system, preventing potential errors and significantly reducing manual data entry time. HL7 interfaces will connect the Digisonics CVIS and the practice's GEMMS EMR for Orders In and Results Out.
