A new e-commerce website designed to smooth and simplify the purchase of PCB assembly equipment has been launched by Manncorp. Selected machines from the company's line of surface mount and through-hole products will now be available at www.manncorpdirect.com.
The site contains descriptions, specifications and is claimed to offer lower upfront pricing without requiring customary registration. Fast delivery is obtainable for most systems, including pick and place machines, stencil printers, batch reflow ovens, wave solder machines, PCB depanelers, component counters, dry cabinets and other surface mount and through-hole equipment.
According to CEO Henry Mann, the move to a second website alongside the existing manncorp.com was prompted by "offshore internet vendors who may have similar products, but base their appeal strictly on price - without an iota of after-the-sale support or service. At manncorpdirect.com, we furnish a 1-year parts warranty, user manuals in comprehendible English and a continuous availability of spare parts. Assistance, if needed, is always available by e-mail, phone or text."
