Randy Shaw, a 20-year oil industry veteran, has been named Manager of Transport Key Accounts for Shell ROTELLA® T engine oil, Shell ELC Extended Life Coolant, Shell SPIRAX® EW axle lubricant, Shell RETINAX® grease, and additional lubricants from Shell. In his new position, Shaw is responsible for overseeing national and corporate sales to large fleets, truck stops, installers, and vocational fleets.
Prior to the appointment, Shaw worked with Shell's sales organization as general manager, channel development, in the central and western U.S. He has been with Shell's lubricants business for the past eight years, following 12 years of work with Shell fuels.
Shaw, 44, has a bachelor's degree from Southwest Texas State University.
Shell ROTELLA® T has been tested and passed all tests required to be qualified against the following performance specifications: API-CI-4 PLUS, API CI-4, Caterpillar ECF-1, Cummins 20078, Detroit Diesel 93K214, Mack EO-N Premium Plus 03, Mercedes-Benz 228.3 and Volvo VDS-3. By meeting or exceeding the specifications listed, ROTELLA T meets the warranty requirements for all major diesel engine manufacturers. Shell ROTELLA® T was formulated with select additives and base oils so that it would pass the performance tests and specifications listed above.
