Columbus, OH (May 29, 2009) - BriskHeat Corporation, the leader in flexible surface heat, and K.S. Instruments PVT. LTD., a leading resistor and heater manufacturer, announced the formation of an Indian Joint Venture, which will be named KSI BriskHeat PVT LTD and will be headquartered in Bangalore, India.
KSI BriskHeat PVT LTD will manufacture hopper heating systems primarily used in the coal power generation industry on air pollution control fly ash hoppers to prevent bridging and corrosion.
Mr. K.S. Nagendra, Managing Director of K.S. Instruments, and Mr. Domenic Federico, President of BriskHeat Corporation, mutually agreed that there is great strategic advantage for the JV being located in India due to the size, growth, and importance of the coal power generation industry in India and other Asian countries. The JV company will take advantage of K.S. Instruments' modern production facility and location as well as BriskHeat's 60 years of experience in solving industrial heat trace applications and worldwide distribution network.
K.S. Instruments will also be distributing BriskHeat solutions throughout India.
