At a paver producer's facility, two sets of a series of (8) heavy duty electromechanical vibratory tube feeders were installed to batch up to 75 tph of various aggregate products onto a common weigh belt conveyor. The feeders are totally enclosed, thereby reducing dust, and lined with replaceable abrasion resistant liners. Installed outdoors and handling material exposed to the elements, the feeders are mounted on a 3 degree incline to allow excess water to drain out of the back of the feeders thus removing excess water from the process. The required precise batch feeding of each ingredient for the pavers is achieved with variable frequency drives that initiate start/stop sequences and electronically control the feed rates remotely via analog signals. These vibratory tube feeders by JVI provide reliable and repeatable maintenance free operation.
