New Industrial Reverse Osmosis Systems from AmeriWater Use Less Energy, Reduce Total Operating Costs and Provide Quieter Operation

DAYTON, OH – AmeriWater Corporation (SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT) has introduced three new Reverse Osmosis system designs that provide improved water quality for industrial applications which include cosmetics production, analytical labs and rinsing operations, with the significant advantages of reduced energy consumption, lower total operating costs, quieter operation and versatile installation.

HRO Industrial Reverse Osmosis – The industry’s most energy-efficient design

Delivering up to 129,600 gallons of high quality water per day, the HRO series from AmeriWater slashes the most expensive cost of any reverse osmosis system: electricity. This energy savings is primarily achieved through Class I (EFFI) motor pumps designed for a 15% – 25% improvement over conventional pumps for the highest efficiency designs available today. In addition, HRO Series units incorporate several design improvements that lower total operating costs. High productivity membranes on HRO units require less pressure to function, saving energy. The units also have fewer chances of fouling through a large 34-mil spacer. A lower risk of leakage and energy consuming flow resistance is made possible through advanced interlocking connectors. In addition, the compact footprint of the HRO Series allows maximum flexibility in a wide range of installations for this complete water quality system.

IRO Industrial Reverse Osmosis – Quieter, more durable and easier to maintain

The new IRO Series from AmeriWater sets a new standard for quiet and dependable operation among units providing up to 19,200 gallons per day. Featuring a submersible pump, the IRO Series allows whisper-quiet service in noise sensitive applications like R&D centers, biotech, humidification, central sterile services, and medical device manufacturers. Like the HRO, the IRO Series also incorporates low fouling and low energy membranes that use less energy and require less cleaning than normal membranes. An open front design makes maintenance fast and easy.

SRO Industrial Reverse Osmosis – Superior small application performance on the floor, table or wall

With its rugged durability and versatile configurations, the SRO series is an ideal choice for reverse osmosis water treatment in small industrial applications. High rejection TFC LE membranes and sediment prefilter assure exceptional water quality. For worry-free performance, SRO units include stainless steel membrane housings, a multi-stage centrifugal submersible pump with thermal motor protection, and a stainless steel concentrate valve, all encased within a powder coated aluminum frame. A state-of-the-art control panel powered by a digital microprocessor allows simple operation and monitoring.
