ITT Flygt Corp.

Trumbull, CT, 06611
USA

Press release date: November 14, 2006

ITT Flygt, Trumbull, CT has recently introduced its latest generation of dewatering pumps. Designated the 2600 series, the new dewatering pump line includes six models - 2610, 2620, 2630, 2640, 2660, and 2670 - with output from 1.2 to 27 HP. The six pumps in the range cover almost any dewatering application at worksites of all sizes, including construction sites, mines, quarries and other harsh environments. The new series pumps come with discharges from 2" NPT through 6" NPT and provide hydraulic performance from 150 GPM to 1,400 GPM and heads from 40 to 230 ft.

The pumps feature innovative hydraulics, fewer components, new materials and a practical, ergonomic design. The patented DuraSpin(TM) hydraulic system and newly designed impeller improves wear resistance and sustains performance over time. The wear-resistant closed impellers are made from high-chrome cast iron. A single screw enables fast and easy adjustment for maximum pump performance. The results of all of these features in one pump: unmatched wear resistance, consistent long-term performance, less downtime, resulting in the lowest possible cost of ownership.

Reduced wear prolongs performance
Compared to traditional dewatering pumps, the 2600 series is over three times more wear-resistant. The 2600 series pumps are engineered to keep operations up and running, even in the harshest environments, maximizing working time and profitability. During a scheduled maintenance check, a moderately worn hydraulic end can be quickly adjusted back to virtually full performance.

All the pumps in the series are designed to be simple and easy to maintain. The junction box is easy to access and external oil and inspection plugs are standard. The inspection chamber provides early notification of any fluid buildup in case of a seal leakage, minimizing the risk of expensive repair work. The unique one-piece Plug-In(TM) seal incorporates two mechanical seals for double protection against liquid penetration.
