BRIDGEWATER, NJ, May 19, 2008 - National Adhesives (www.nationaladh.com) has published a flyer featuring new VECTORPATCH® window adhesives, a new window gum family that provides both machine speed and gum box stability necessary to work on all envelope folding machines.
Historically, envelope converters have had to compromise between the tack needed for high- speed machines and the gum box stability needed on slower equipment. VECTORPATCH window gums solve this dilemma by delivering outstanding performance on a wide range of envelope folding machines - at a broad range of speeds and on a variety of papers. Specifically, VECTORPATCH adhesives provide high tack on the fastest folding equipment; gum box stability, resulting in minimal buildup on cutting knives and rollers over time; MERLIN® compatibility, with the right properties to prevent window film warping; and outstanding adhesion to polystyrene.
The VECTORPATCH window gum family includes three products detailed in an accompanying chart, with information on viscosity, solids, wet tack, gumbox stability and adhesion.
