Press release date: July 31, 2009

A giant leap forward in user-friendliness and flexibility.

New Brunswick Scientific (NBS) has introduced two new BioCommand® Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software packages to enhance monitoring, control and data-logging of your fermentation and cell culture processes. This latest edition of NBS's software is currently offered in two OPC-compatible packages enabling data from any other OPC-compliant device in your lab or production facility to be integrated into your process control strategy. The first of the two programs, BioCommand Track and Trend, enables remote monitoring and control for basic lab management. BioCommand Batch Control adds capability for more sophisticated process control needs. NBS, the company who pioneered the first PC-compatible fermentation software over two decades ago, notes BioCommand requires no programming skills, making it among the most user-friendly bioprocessing software ever developed.
