Additive Manufacturing Expert and Inc. 500 Honoree Expands in Pacific Northwest to Meet Growing Demand for 3D Printer Sales and Services
Oakland, CA — FATHOMTM, the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest 3D printing and rapid prototype production center and top performing Stratasys 3D printer distributor of Northern California and Pacific Northwest, announced today that its Washington-based offices are moving to a new Seattle location and will include a robust 3D printing production center.
FATHOMTM has been supporting the region since 2008 when Principals Rich Stump and Michelle Mihevc founded the company under the name Kemeera, later rebranding as FATHOMTM in 2012. General Manager Dylan Oliver joined the team in 2010 and has been a major contributor to the company’s growth.
“We are really excited to be expanding our presence in the Pacific Northwest,” said Oliver from his Seattle office. “It is good to be on the leading edge of an emerging industry with a company that values its employees and customers. These are exciting times professionally and personally.”
Earlier this year, Inc. Magazine ranked FATHOMTM NO. 369 on its 32nd annual Inc. 500|5000 because of its three-year sales growth of more than 1,000%. Stump believes the company’s continuous growth is a direct result of his team’s collaboration with other fast growing companies.
“FATHOM works with some of the most innovative companies in the world and we are continually focused on providing customers with a complete experience that gets products to market faster and more efficiently.”
Like its headquarters located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the production center will feature Stratasys 3D printers utilizing Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and PolyJet Technologies.
“Stratasys’ technologies really complement each other; in fact many of our customers adopt both platforms,” said Oliver. “There are many benefits to each technology and customers leverage our hands-on expertise to better understand the many ways they can use these technologies.”
The production center is located at the corner of Stone Way and N 43rd Street and is scheduled to open its doors next month. An open house will be held November 14th.
