Torrance, CA - ORIENTAL MOTOR USA CORP - Oriental Motor USA is introducing four new motorized linear actuators to their already broad lineup of linear and rotary actuators. The four new motorized linear actuators are designed for greater ease of use and higher performance in positioning applications. Each of the four new packages (SPV, EZCII, EZA and PWAII) was designed to not only accommodate a wide range of possible applications but to accommodate simplicity in product integration. Each motorized linear actuator is also available to ship in seven days.
All Oriental Motor's motorized linear actuators feature the Alpha-Step stepping motor with built-in closed loop performance, ideal for high response moves with no gain tuning or hunting problems common to servo solutions. All motorized linear actuators also feature a common controller that lets the user effortlessly set all functions needed or run in driver mode, accepting step and direction from a master controller or PLC.
Customers will be able to develop their applications in less time by taking advantage of the linear actuator packages already assembled. Additionally, users can shorten time to market by utilizing available accessories for each actuator versus spending the time and money needed to research, develop and build their own systems.
Product highlights for each line include:
1. Linear Line
i. SPV Series- High Speed, long strokes
With a belt and pulley mechanism and an aluminum frame structure, the SPV series is ideal for applications requiring long strokes at high speeds.
2. Cylinder Line:
i. EZC Series- Space Savings
A space saving ball screw system ideal for high speed positioning or applications where the load is pushed or pulled. The EZC II series replaces the EZC, EZHC and EZHP motorized cylinders.
ii. EZA Series- Built in Guide
With a built-in guide the EZA Series motorized cylinder offers improved performance and greater ease of use while maintaining a compact size. Simply install a load directly onto the rod, and this motorized cylinder will perform the push-motion and transfer operations. For heavier loads, a guide maybe considered.
iii. PWA II Series - High thrust force
Ideal for high thrust force, with the use of gears and a ball screw, along with the folded motor configuration, the PWA II Series cylinders achieve a compact size perfect for applications with push motion and pressurized positioning.
The linear actuators are commonly used in the following application: X-Y applications, parts inspection or parts assembly applications, pick and place applications, push-motion applications and pressurized positioning operations. Each motorized linear actuator ships in seven days of ordering.
