New EMCare Database on Dialog and DataStar Offers Timely Information to Healthcare Professionals

Cary, NC USA, London UK, August 31, 2006 - Dialog, a Thomson business, today announced that it has enhanced its portfolio of healthcare information with the addition of EMCare, a new nursing and allied health database.
Dialog follows DataStar as the second Thomson platform to offer the EMCare database. EMCare is produced by Elsevier and provides access to scientific and professional literature that is directly relevant to the development of more cost-effective and higher quality healthcare in a wide variety of arenas: from hospitals and educational settings through academic and research-oriented facilities.

With more than 2,700 international source titles, EMCare includes unique content not found in any other nursing and allied health database. It features a 10-year backfile, and more than 200,000 new records will be added to the database each year.
