New Colombian Reseller for Meggitt's Wilcoxon Research Product Line
Germantown, MD - Meggitt, a leading supplier of quality accelerometers and vibration sensors, has bolstered sales channels in South America with the addition of a new partner, GPI International, Inc. GPI International is now an authorized reseller of the Wilcoxon Research product line in Colombia.
GPI International has been in business for 15 years serving the Colombia power generation market and other industrial markets from the US, with a sister facility that has been doing business for 35 years inside Colombia. These two facilities bring their combined experience to customers of Meggitt's Wilcoxon Research piezoelectric accelerometers, velocity sensors, cables, mounting accessories, vibration alarms, vibration transmitters, 4-20 mA vibration sensors and hazardous area sensors. GPI International also sells Meggitt's Vibro-Meter product line of turbomachinery sensors and equipment for total machinery protection, condition and performance monitoring. Their long history of industry experience and familiarity with other Meggitt lines will enable GPI to immediately begin working with new Meggitt customers with a need for industrial balance of plant vibration monitoring. GPI International's Business Director, Mr. Andrés Sanchez, is "excited about this mutually beneficial partnership" and "sees nice growth opportunities for the Wilcoxon Research product line in Colombia."
The Wilcoxon Research product line from Meggitt includes vibration monitoring products for industrial predictive maintenance applications and condition monitoring of fans, motors, pumps, blowers, compressors, chillers, gearboxes, and mixers, to significantly reduce failure rates in the field. GPI International will serve customers in power generation as well as other industrial markets such as petrochemical, oil and gas, food and beverage, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, railway, steel making, pulp and paper, and wastewater treatment plants.
