New CNC Tool Cart Designed For CAPTO® Style Tooling

A new tool cart for CAPTO® Style Tooling will be introduced by Huot Manufacturing at IMTS 2006, Booth E 2060. The tool cart features specially molded nylon inserts that securely hold CAPTO tooling by their unique polygon tapered shank. While providing the tooling with a snug fit, the specially shaped inserts also help prevent nicks and scratches to the tooling surface. The tooling cart is available for CAPTO Styles C3, C4, C5, and C6. Each model holds 48 CAPTO tools.

The tool cart provides 3 shelves: a top shelf holding 24 tools, a middle shelf holding 24 tools with angled sides for quick, easy tooling access. The bottom shelf allows extra carrying space for other large tooling and fixtures. For small items and tools, the tool cart comes with two adjustable side trays with a protective lining.

Unlike conventional industrial carts, the Huot CAPTO Tool Cart is fabricated for heavy duty use in manufacturing environments on the production floor. It has solid, protective side panels for maximum strength and stability with interlocking construction for added durability. The all steel cart is coated with an infra-red, baked on epoxy for extra resistance to scratches and corrosion. Its heavy duty 5" x 1¼" casters are load rated at 1,000 pounds to easily transport tooling from tool room to machine station. The tool cart's casters also feature rear swivels for smooth turning during transport and front locking swivels while at rest.
