Press release date: July 3, 2007

Brecksville, OH-Hyson Products, a business of Barnes Group Inc., issues literature on the TankerŪS and TankerŪT (TNKS and TNKT), the latest generation of the TankerŪ gas spring series originally introduced in 1985. The new springs offer high force in a short height with contact forces from 2,200 to 15,400 lbs. and full stroke forces from 3,900 to 27,600 lbs.

The 24-page color brochure details the advantages of these high performance gas springs from the patented dynamic lubrication to reduce heat build-up and extend spring life, to the bore seal to resist contamination and rod damage, and from the corrosion-resistant nitrided rod, self-aligning to accept normal die movement and a degree of sideload without damaging cylinder seal surface, to the long stroke lengths to 225mm/8.86 in.

Product specifications, dimensions, force charts, accessories, mounting options and ordering information are included for each model.

Hyson Products designs and manufactures TankerŪT and TankerŪS high force and high performance gas springs, and T2 and T3 standard gas springs; Nitro-DyneŪ XP manifold systems and accessories; the Dyne-A-CamŪ Series of cams, and controllable systems that include the DRACŪ Series of delayed return manifolds and the hydraulic Di-Dro advanced forming systems in an ISO 9001-2000 certified facility.
