Reichshof-Wehnrath, Germany, August 5, 2008 - SOKYMAT AUTOMOTIVE GmbH, a global leader in the development, production and sale of RFID components for applications across a range of industries, has appointed Marc Schnippering as Regional Sales Manager for the company's operations in the USA. Based out of Barrington, Rhode Island, his primary objective will be to further expand and consolidate SOKYMAT AUTOMOTIVE's market position in the US RFID and transponder marketplace.
Marc Schnippering joins the company with 10 years commercial experience in the international sales of RFID products under his belt having worked for Assa Abloy Identification Technologies and HID Global. His considerable knowledge of a range of sectors spanning access control, industrial ID and animal ID makes him ideally suited for the new role.
