Adhesive Applications Sees Growth of Existing Line of Tapes into New Markets.
Easthampton, MA, January 2010 - Adhesive Applications continues to see new uses for their industry-leading extended liner tapes. Originally created to provide a better solution for envelope manufacturers, the tapes are seeing some interesting traction in unanticipated applications.
"We knew we had a strong product line for some of the more apparent extended liner applications, such as envelopes, tags, and labels," commented John Latka, National Sales Manager, Adhesive Applications. "But seeing growth in areas such as crime scene evidence bags, parking tickets, and corrugated POP displays has shown us that there's much more potential than anticipated."
One of the main reasons for the growth is that the company initially developed the product line to be customizable for specific applications. Some of these features and options include:
o 1-4 mil unsupported transfer tape
o Up to 10 mil double coated tape
o Polyester, non-woven, or paper support
o Paper or poly liners either flood coated or extended
o With or without print
o Permanent or removable adhesives for LSE or HSE formulation
Manufactured in the USA, these tapes can be configured either planetary wound or spool wound. Custom configurations may be available, based on quantity required.
