Press release date: September 22, 2010

Mt. Olive, NJ - September 22, 2010 - American Sensor Technologies, Inc. (AST) has a brand new website look to make pressure sensor selection easy. The home page Flash presentation has been revised to give new visitors a better understanding of AST's product offerings, unique technology, and the main markets in which pressure sensors are applied. Slight modifications to the top and bottom toolbars allow for greater access to AST's main content.

The product page has had a complete overhaul, featuring a new pressure sensor product selector. Visitors to the website can narrow down products through the left-hand selection guide. Since AST's catalog has grown significantly; six main categories make it easier to choose between products. Each pressure sensor now has a brief description with its major benefits to differentiate products to first time visitors. Visitors that know exactly which product is required, make selections from the list or on the "Sensor by Series" page.

In addition to the product selector, each product page has a "Quick Contact" form. Understanding that many visitors are pressed for time, the contact form allows customers to reach AST about their pressure sensor requirements without having to leave the current page The user can also inform AST about whether he or she is interested in a pressure sensor from stock. With over 1,000 pressure sensors on hand, AST can email and/or call the visitor with the best possible options for their requirements.

The MEMS Technology page features greater detail on the benefits of AST's proprietary Krystal Bond(TM) Technology. Using images and charts, this page shows the unique advantage to AST's one-piece pressure sensor element across all applications.

The Application Notes page is a growing database of pressure sensor solutions. AST supplies to a wide variety of markets due to the flexibility of the pressure sensor and our ability to make semi-custom products. AST's goal is to increase awareness of application factors that could potentially be overlooked in pressure sensor selection.
