Siemon takes Greener approach to its printed catalogs
WATERTOWN, Conn., Feb. 25 - Siemon announces the release of their new 2008 North American Network Cabling Solutions catalog. Available at no cost, the catalog arranges Siemon products into their appropriate systems to simplify the process of selecting an end-to-end cabling infrastructure.
This 2008 Siemon System catalog is designed specifically for the Americas and represents the key, regional "Focus" products for each of Siemon's high performance systems, including in-depth product information and specifications. This Americas targeted catalog expands market-appropriate content while maintaining the easy-to-use system-based catalog format. This regional catalog approach applies to Siemon's other global regions as well, with EMEA and APAC- catalogs pending release.
Beyond making it easier for Siemon global clients and partners to select an end-to-end cabling system that is appropriate to their market, the new catalog approach is also easier on the environment.
By regionalizing Siemon catalogs and transitioning some supporting products to the online e-catalog at http://www.siemon.com/, Siemon cut approximately 40% of the total catalog page count, significantly reducing paper usage.
