Richard A. Clarke, Former White House Advisor on Cybersecurity, and Orson Swindle, Former FTC Commissioner to Keynote

HERNDON, Va., Oct. 7 - NetWitness® Corporation, the world leader in real-time network forensics and next generation network security monitoring, today announced that Richard A. Clarke and Orson Swindle will be the keynote speakers at the 2nd Annual NetWitness User Conference. The conference will be held on October 25-26, 2010, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Clarke, currently chairman of Good Harbor Consulting, is an internationally recognized security expert, including homeland and national security, cybersecurity, and counterterrorism. Mr. Clarke is currently an on-air consultant for ABC News and teaches at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. Mr. Clarke served the last three Presidents on security issues as a senior White House Advisor. He is also well known for his candid, and sometimes critical books on cyberterrorism, including his latest book entitled "Cyber War: The Next Threat to National Security and What to Do About It."

Mr. Swindle served as the chairman of Information Security Projects for the Center for Information Policy Leadership in Washington at Hunton & Williams LLP from 2005 until 2009. Mr. Swindle was a commissioner of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission from December 1997 to June 2005. He has had a distinguished military career, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, and served in the Reagan Administration from 1981 to 1989 directing financial assistance programs to economically distressed rural and municipal areas of the country. He is currently retired, but still remains active in discussions on cyber and national security.
