FYI - This morning NetMotion Wireless announced that the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, the nation's largest non-profit home healthcare agency, has turned to NetMotion to improve the mobile productivity of their visiting nurses and doctors as they travel around the New York Metropolitan area.

For some perspective, the agency makes 2.2 million home visits per year to an average of 30,000 patients per day. The nurses and healthcare professionals are using NetMotion to improve mobile access to medical information (charting, records, test results) and to enable seamless roaming between multiple wireless network connections (Wi-Fi, Wide-area cellular) to ultimately improve the efficiency of their visits.
