Neil Armstrong has been promoted to the role of Vice President, Operations, for ESAB Canada. In his new role, Neil will oversee relations for key distributor accounts, marketing, service, supply chain and general operations.
Neil joined ESAB in 1991, having graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor Degree in Materials Engineering. He is a P.Eng in Ontario and has completed the Executive Business Management Program at the Richard Ivey School of Business. Neil has held various positions throughout his career at ESAB including Technical Sales Representative, Marketing Manager, and Logistics Manager.
Nearly 70 years' experience of cutting and responding to customers' needs have resulted in an extensive range of products to meet profile cutting applications. Based around the four methods of laser cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, plasma cutting and waterjet cutting, ESAB has developed a range of machines that deliver better cut quality, higher cutting speeds, lower operating costs and allow sophisticated integration into automated production methods.
