National Precision Bearing Expands Inventory of Stainless Steel Bearings

NPB's new stock offering now includes inch and metric sizes ranging from 1mm bore to 50mm bore. Stainless steel bearings have similar mechanical properties to chrome steel bearings with the advantage of being resistant to corrosion. There are several types of stainless steel ball bearings, ranging from 440C type which offers the greatest hardness and surface finish, to 302 which has extreme toughness and corrosion resistance.
