ANSI-accredited standards developer North American Security Products Organization (NASPO) announced plans to hold meeting to commence development of national identity verification standard. Meeting will take place in Kansas City, MO on July 12 at 1 pm and end next day at 4:30 pm. Individuals and organizations who wish to participate in development process and attend this meeting must register to participate and commit to payment in advance of attendance.

The North American Security Products Organization (NASPO), an American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-accredited standards developer, has announced plans to hold a kick-off meeting to commence development of a national identity verification standard. The NASPO standards effort is the result of an ANSI Identity Theft Prevention and Identity Management Standards Panel (IDSP) workshop that called for the creation of such a standard.
The meeting will take place in Kansas City, Missouri, starting at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2010, and ending on Tuesday, July 13, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in Pavilion 3 at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza, 401 Ward Parkway, Kansas City.
