Porta-Nails expanded their line of flooring tools to now offer the 418A, Porta-Nail Pro and 461A. The diversity of each model offers the ability to install a wide range of flooring.

Cincinnati, OH -- Flooring trends are changing across all markets. Due to these changes the flooring tool industry is also revolutionizing their tools. With the higher demand for exotic flooring, more specialized tools are now available from Porta-Nails. Thinner 18 gauge flooring nails and staples reduce the risk of splitting or dimpling in exotic hardwoods. The new tools offered by Porta-Nails are excellent for both homeowners and professionals alike.

The 418A has a fully adjustable shoe designed for the installation of 3/8" to 5/8" (10-16mm) engineered and solid wood flooring including bamboo. The pneumatic mallet-actuated, 8.75 lb., 418A has a compact design for use closer to end walls. The 418A drives 18 gauge 1-1/2" and 1-1/4" L-type barbed flooring nails. Additional features include a wide profile shoe base for increased stability, quick load magazine and comfort grip handle.

The new Porta-Nail Pro is a manual nailer designed for blind nailing 9/16" to 33/32" tongue and groove flooring. Porta-Nails preferred-seating system allows for single or a "multiple-hit" operation. Drives both the T and L style 16 gauge flooring nails. The Porta-Nail Pro is available in a variety of packages to accommodate your specific installation needs. The 410 includes the Porta-Nail Pro, mallet and spare parts kit and the 412 includes the 410, face nailing shoe and carrying case.

One of Porta-Nails latest innovations for the installation of 3/8" to 5/8" thick tongue and groove wood and engineered flooring is the 461A. The 461A virtually eliminates tongue splitting and surface damage. The Portamatic Elevator 461A runs 18 gauge 1/4" crown staples from 1" to 1-9/16" in length. The tool free adjustable shoe base ensures precise staple placement for a variety of different floor thicknesses. Features include a sequential contact safety, comfort rubber grip and adjustable exhaust.

The Porta-Nail line includes hardwood floor fastening tools, private label specialty tools and specialty woodworking tools. For over forty years Porta-Nail tools have helped professionals to DIY's meet growing demands for hardwood flooring installation projects.
