DETAILS

Reshoring and export initiatives are hot topics in manufacturing today and in the news media. See how these concepts become reality at the NTMA/PMA Contract Manufacturing Purchasing Fair, a premier event that connects U.S. and foreign OEMs with leading U.S. manufacturers to source precision components and tooling. The Fair will be held at the MGM Grand/Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT on October 29, 2010.

This is the second of two fairs to be held by NTMA/PMA this year. Nearly 60 representatives from large Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Tier 1 manufacturers and 120 precision job shops attended the previous event in May 2010 in Irvine, CA. This is THE event for domestic job shops to secure work from both Domestic and International OEMs.

The Fair will also highlight the NTMA/PMA Reshoring Initiative, a non-protectionist, efficient way to reduce U.S. imports, increase "net exports" and create jobs. Going local can reduce a company's TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and offer a host of other benefits while bringing U.S. manufacturing jobs back home.
