NFM Creates Director of Controls Engineering Position

Massillon, Ohio USA: NFM, a global supplier of plastic and rubber processing systems and equipment, is pleased to announce that senior leadership at the firm has created a new Director of Controls Engineering position to be filled by Nolan Ramsey.

In this role, Mr. Ramsey will be responsible for managing the controls engineering staff, as well as overseeing the design and implementation of NFM's Aries II control systems used on extrusion processing equipment. The Aries II systems have been designed to service a free-standing extruder unit or can function as a supervisory system for complete extrusion lines. Typical applications for control and monitoring include feed, vacuum, recovery, filtration, secondary pumping, pelletizing, and other system functions.

According to Paul Roberson, Vice President of Business Development, "NFM's controls engineering has been managed by the Engineering Director in the past. NFM's strong growth has been largely attributed to the Aries II system and its versatile abilities. Therefore, we have created the new management position to increase our focus on the controls portion of our business. Nolan has been instrumental in the continued development of our control packages and will serve as a strong leader for future development as Director of Controls Engineering."
