NEMA Publishes NEMA MGW 1-2013 the U.S. Department of Energy Small Electric Motor Standards Final Rule and Technical Support Document of March 9, 2010



ROSSLYN, Va., —The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) published white paper NEMA MGW 1-2013 The U.S. Department of Energy Small Electric Motor Standards Final Rule and Technical Support Document of March 9, 2010.



NEMA MGW 1-2013 covers issues pertaining to the rulemaking for Energy Conservation Standards for Small Electric Motors of March 9, 2010, and related documents. It does not cover the Department of Energy’s (DOE) energy conservation standards and test procedures for electric motors, which apply to a much larger set of products.
